The LAB-BOT-ONE is a modular laboratory automation system designed to handle, label, weigh and fill a wide range of laboratory tubes and vials.
By combining multiple processing technologies in a compact desktop platform, the system enables automated laboratory workflows from sample labeling to reagent kit production.

Tube AND VIAL Processing station
Gantry system with a universal 4-jaw gripper for secure transportation of tubes inside. The gantry moves along the longitudinal axis and immediately stops when the surface sensors detect an obstacle. The multi-colored LED strips clearly indicate the operational status to the user.
Multi-function unit with tube labeler, dispensing system, barcode reader, and cap holder. This is the core component of the LAB-BOT-ONE. Here, the tube rotates while the label is applied, caps are screwed on and off, and liquid is dispensed.
The FlexDeck enables a straightforward setup for any task and any tube type. Rack adapters and racks can be exchanged in seconds to ensure optimal compatibility. Most rack adapters feature multiple slots or positions for standard or specialized automation-compatible racks. Rack adapters for pipetting robot carriers (e.g., Hamilton) are also available. The open access to the deck allows racks to be loaded by external robots or processed with external devices, such as a pipetting robot.
The deck has 20 lock-in positions, with each adapter occupying multiple positions. The scale requires two positions and must always be placed on the right side. The remaining space is flexible and can be occupied by identical or different rack adapters.
Despite the compact dimensions of the device, it accommodates a high loading capacity of tubes, ensuring extended walk-away time. All rack adapters are made of stainless steel and are easy to clean. A wide range of adapters and racks for various tubes and vials is already available (see price list).
With the integrated weighing module from Sartorius, the universal load cell, and the automated windshield, precise and reproducible weighing results are achieved quickly. Tubes can be weighed with or without caps, as the LAB-BOT-ONE can unscrew and store the cap in the active unit. Thanks to the LAB-BOT-ONE, the determination of weigh-ins is more accurate and efficient than ever before.

The labels with all necessary information are in exactly the right place. The fill level is exactly thanks to the "no hanging drops" technology, and the caps are tightly closed thanks to the torque shut-off.
Perfect labeling is essential for cryogenic storage or keeping samples. The labels must also withstand temperatures of up to -196°C.
The LAB-BOT-ONE can also determine the weight when storing and retrieving or record the weight loss during storage.
And of course the LAB-BOT-ONE can also re-sort or reform the cryogenic vials between the same or different boxes using cherry picking.
Whether you use Kabevette, Monovette, Vacuette, or Vacutainer blood collection tubes, secure labeling is essential both during blood collection and later analysis.
The LAB-BOT-ONE can easily and quickly label and assemble sets of different tubes for each patient. It doesn't matter what diameter the tubes have or which provider or system you use. Even small diameters, such as 8 mm, commonly used in pediatrics, pose no problems and can be freely combined with other diameters.
Centrifuge tubes with 15ml and 50ml volumes are a standard vessel size in many analytical laboratories for applications such as DNA isolation, purification and precipitation of nucleic acids, cell centrifugation, dilutions or as a storage vessel.
Thanks to the LAB-BOT-ONE, handwritten labels are a thing of the past. And the device also happily and reliably takes care of filling or determining the weight for digestion.
