The base unit for the automatic handling of typical laboratory tubes, vials, and bottles.
With a simple power connection and network access, the device is immediately ready for use, ensuring efficient and precise automation in your laboratory.

Functions:

Labeling of laboratory tubes, vials, and bottles
Opening and closing of screw caps (capping and decapping)
Filling or dispensing of HPLC and GC vials as well as up to 50ml centrifuge tubes

The integrated FlexDeck offers a capacity of 20 rack positions and can be individually customized to your requirements using corresponding rack carriers and racks.

Cooperative operation:
The LAB-BOT-ONE is equipped with advanced sensors and operates cooperatively, allowing it to be used directly on the lab bench or in a fume hood without the need for additional protective enclosures. An enclosure is available as an optional accessory, providing a protected operation (product and personnel protection).

Easy control via web server:
The device is controlled via the integrated web server and functions similarly to a network printer. Job creation is conveniently done via the Lab-Bot-Commander directly from the workstation.

What is the LAB-BOT-ONE?

The LAB-BOT-ONE is a compact laboratory automation device for the automatic labeling, filling and weighing of laboratory tubes and vials. It was specially developed for laboratory environments and combines several work steps in a single system.

Do I need a service technician for the installation?

No. The LAB-BOT-ONE is designed so that you can set up and operate the device yourself with a little technical know-how. We have detailed instructions for this and are available online to provide help and advice. Alternatively, we will be happy to set up and operate the system for you.

How do I operate the LAB-BOT-ONE?

It is controlled via an intuitive web interface that you can access from any PC, tablet or smartphone on the network.
No additional software installation is required.

Can the LAB-BOT-ONE work with external data sources (e.g. Excel or LIMS)?

Yes, the LAB-BOT-ONE can transfer data from Excel files or other formats and also supports a connection to existing laboratory information systems (LIMS) via standardized interfaces.

Which tubes and vials can the LAB-BOT-ONE process?

The LAB-BOT-ONE supports all common laboratory tubes and vials – from 2 ml HPLC vials to 50 ml centrifuge tubes.
The system automatically calculates the positions based on the tubes and racks used.

Can I use my own label formats?

Yes, you can use individual sizes according to our specification and customize the device accordingly. The integrated printer processes standard label rolls for laboratory automation like the ones we offer.

How much maintenance does the LAB-BOT-ONE require?

The appliance is low-maintenance. Regular cleaning of the work surface and the multifunctional unit is all that is required on a day-to-day basis.

How long does it take to convert between different tube types?

On the LAB-BOT-ONE, you do not need to change anything between the different tube types. Only the deck needs to be set up for the racks and vials used. This only takes a few seconds.

Is there a support or service contract?

Yes, we offer either classic maintenance contracts or an all-inclusive service package that covers support, spare parts and regular inspections.

What happens if a hood door is opened during operation?

The LAB-BOT-ONE immediately stops all movements as soon as a door is opened. This protects the user at all times. Operation can only be resumed once the door is closed again and the restart command is executed in the web interface.

How is the LAB-BOT-ONE integrated into the network?

You can integrate the LAB-BOT-ONE into the local network either via Ethernet or WLAN.
All device functions can then be accessed via the web interface.
